对于石油行业的管螺纹的标注有它的专用表示方法，和国际石油学会的要求是一致的，例如3 寸油管的公扣螺纹标注为：在图纸上标注小端的大径、中径及小径尺寸，再用引线标注上3 1/2"TBG油管螺纹 每寸10牙，后边标上粗糙度及锥度。套管及钻杆螺纹也一样。石油行业有它特殊的表示方法。
